The Family Rømer bought the buildings in 1998 to make soft drink production. In 2002 they choose to brew beers in the old equipment. See beers from the old Ørbæk Bryggeri here.

Kongebryg, Nyborg

In the Middle Ages, Nyborg was a royal city. From the middle of 1200th. century to 1413 the king met with the Danish parliament in Danehof Hall at Nyborg Castle.

The brew are based on medieval luxury. It is brewed with added lemon, there was a very exclusive dining at the time.

Old Danish Beer
A co-operation between Dansk Mjød and Ørbæk. Dansk Mjød wanted to make an beer after an old danish recipe from the 1700-century, where it was comon to mix beer and mead. Old Danish consist therefore of mead brewed by Dansk Mjød and beer brewed by Ørbæk, mixed and drawn on Ørbæk.
