| It is posible to trace Paulaner Brauerei back to 1634. After the dissolution of the monastery in 1799, was the brewery taken over by the brewer Franz Xaver Zacheri.
In 1837 did König Ludwig 1. proclaim the brewerys products as luxury goods. Palauner achieved Thomasbräu in 1928. It continued to operate the Kapuzinerplatz site and its own brewery until bomb damage closed both towards the end of the World War II. When brewing resumed in 1949, it was only at the Paulaner site. |
