Founded in 1897 in Dalarna County as Grängesberg Brewery. In 1923 acquired Louis Spendrup the brewery. In 1982 was the name changed to Spendrups Bryggeri AB. Spendrup has bought several breweries in Sweden. Gotland Bryggeri, Mariestads Bryggeri (1967), Wårby Bryggerier (Norrlands) (1989). In April 2008 Spendrups Bryggeri AB acquired Hellefors. |
